I start brewing the coffee; hit the shower and then head to my studio with my freshly made cup of coffee. I meditate, pray and practice gratitude for everything. I open up my laptop and start writing my 1 page a day story. Once I’m done writing I listen to motivational videos on Youtube.
By random selection, I heard one no longer than 2 minutes by the life coach and motivational speaker - Anthony Robbins. He was explaining the exercise of being positive for 7 days. In my mind I said it be a piece of cake. I practice positivity every day and keep a good attitude throughout the day.
He then explained that if a negative thought comes to mind that – that is ok, as long as you move onto a positive thought and not entertain the negative thought. If you start entertaining and focusing on the negative thought – even if you’re on the seventh day, you must start over.
I’m on my third day. It has been harder than I thought. lol – The reason being is that every millisecond exterior information comes in as well as interior information surfaces via old memories or judgments etc.
To make it more interesting Anthony Robbins said that the last day – the seventh day - a lot of negativity will happen.. lol That’s a test he said to see if you’re ready for the goodness that is to come after that.
Try it out – see how you fare with this exercise.
I’m going to maintain optimistic and say this now, see you on the 8th day :)
